Product Description:
Felt Restore is a brand new product developed by Piano Technician Ken Peterson as a replacement for VS ProFelt. This is a liquid polymer designed to rejuvenate worn piano felts, primarily worn key bushings, but will also work with restoring loose flange bushings. Felt Restore is non-toxic and noncaustic so that it is not only safe to work with, but won't damage the keys or the pins.
The key bushings can be treated and then left to dry overnight. Sometimes some key easing is needed, but to prevent this you can use a key bushing caul after applying the Felt Restore to the bushing to size it perfectly to the pin.
