These cement wafers are the easiest and most effective way to reattach ivory keytops. They are made of a woven material that is chemically treated.
Instructions for use:
Prepare the key surface as normal for attaching keytop material. Immerse the wafer in water for 30 seconds and apply to the wood. Position the ivory, then apply the plate for the clamp as hot as possible to still be able to handle with your fingers and draw up the clamp. Allow 30 to 45 minutes to dry. Plate may be heated with a spirit lamp after applying to the work, if needed. Do not remove the plate or the clamp until they are cold. The clamps are available separately here in our store.
