- STAR TIP TUNING HAMMER: This tuning hammer comes with a 5 degree #2 star tip. The #2 star tip is designed to fit tuning pins with square heads. It will fit tuning pins on most pianos, except those with smaller than normal tuning pins (mostly found on very old, European pianos). A great tool for beginning tuners or for those wanting to own a hammer for occasional touch-ups or tuning.
- TUNING HAMMER DURABLE DESIGN: The hammer's total length is 12 inches and it has a curved, 6-1/2" wooden handle.
- INCLUDES:
- One temperament strip: 50" long and is tapered from 3/4" down to 1/2" wide
- Two 3" x 3/8" rubber mutes with handles - FUNCTION OF TOOLS:
- The temperament strip is used to mute off the outside strings and one is enough to tune two octaves at a time.
- The two small rubber mutes with metal extension handles are used for the high strings and the two longer mutes for the middle or lower strings.
