Adjusting Lost Motion in a Vertical Piano

Lost Motion in a vertical piano is the amount of movement the key is able to make before the jack engages the hammer butt.  Having too much lost motion results in a loss of energy and makes the key movement ineffecient.  Here are links to the tools used in this procedure:
