Function: The backrail cloth cushions the motion of the keys, reducing noise when the front of the key rises and the back returns.

Installation Tip: For best results, apply glue only under the front edge of the cloth, leaving the back edge free. This method produces a softer, quieter response and allows for easy shimming if needed.

Thickness Measurement: Over time, cloth compresses with use and age. To find the original thickness, measure an area with minimal wear, which will more accurately reflect the true size.
